EKU took an early 1-0 lead, but the Huskies tied it up and then went on
top by a score of 4-1.
The Colonels plated two runs in the seventh, one in the
eighth and then scored three times in the ninth to win in dramatic fashion off NU relievers Matt Pileski and Tim Bush.

Bussell doubled to drive in the tying runs and later scored the winning run from
second base when Robby Price reached base on an error. Brandon Scott (1-1) earned the win for EKU after allowing one earned run on two
hits. He struck out two batters and walked one in 2.1 innings of work. Bush (0-1) took the loss for NU.
