Northeastern 12, Towson 10
Jeff Thomson and Trevor Smith both logged four innings on the mound for the Huskies before Ryan Quigley pitched an inning of scoreless relief to pick up his second save of the season.
David Gustafson led the Huskies' offensive surge, racking up five RBI with a three-run homer and a two-run double. Mike Lyon drove in two with his team-leading fifth home run and Frank Pesanello went 3-4 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored.
The win put the Huskies at 6-5 on the season and 3-3 in the CAA. The Tigers drop to 6-15 and 2-5 in the conference.
