Huskies comeback falls short, lose at Towson, 10-8
David Gustafson, Mike Tamsin and Mike Lyon homered for the second consecutive day, with Tamsin driving in three runs, Lyon driving in two and Gustafson driving in one. Gustafson also led the team with three hits and two runs scored. Captain Dan Milano added his first triple of the season and Brendan Stokes smacked two hits, including an RBI double.
Towson's Brian Conley broke a 4-4 tie in the sixth inning with a grand slam to put the Tigers up 8-4.
Sheldon McDonald started the game for the Huskies and took the loss, going 5.1 innings and allowing eight runs on ten hits, while striking out three.
The Huskies now stand at 7-6 overall and 4-4 in the CAA. They will return home to Friedman Diamond to take on the University of Rhode Island at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

Shuerholz Park (Towson, MD)The Northeastern baseball team's attempt of a three-game sweep against Towson fell short, as the Huskies fell to the Tigers on Sunday at Shuerholz Park, 10-8.
