2008: Named one of the team's senior captains by head coach Neil McPhee...tossed 5-1/3 innings of six-hit, four-run, seven-strikeout ball to pick up his first win of the season at George Mason in NU's 10-6 win on March 21...earned a no-decision in the Huskies' 3-3 tie vs. UNC Wilmington April 6 after allowing five hits and three runs, while striking out four in six innings of work...pitched to a no-decision after going six innings and allowing seven hits, two earned runs and two walks, while striking out four in NU's 7-6, 10-inning win vs. Towson in the consolation game of the Beanpot at Fenway Park April 15...was superb in his first relief appearance since 2005, tossing 3+ shutout innings of one-hit, one-walk, four strikeout ball to help the Huskies cling to a 2-1 win vs. Towson April 20...closed out NU's 6-2 win in game two of a doubleheader vs. Hofstra May 3, throwing 3-2/3 scorless, no-hit innings to earn his first save since 2005.
2007: Went 7-4 with a 3.60 ERA, leading the Huskies in wins, strikeouts (59) and innings pitched (75)...finished the season tied for fifth in NU history with 19 wins and ninth all-time with 173 strikeouts...struck out eight and allowed no earned runs and only three hits in six innings against Indiana-Purdue in the Huskies’ 9-6 win March 3...picked up his first win of the season at William & Mary on March 9 in a seven-inning effort...struck out a career-high 14 batters in 6-2/3 innings of work to improve to 2-0 on the season in the Huskies’ 5-3 win at George Mason March 18...improved to 3-0 after pitching six innings of four-hit, one-run ball in NU’s 10-4 win at Towson March 24...earned his fourth win of the season after pitching 6-2/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs in the Huskies’ 8-2 win at James Madison April 6...pitched seven-plus innings of seven-hit, three-run, eight-strikeout ball to earn the win vs. Georgia State April 20...earned the win after tossing 6-2/3 innings of seven-hit, two-run, four-strikeout ball in the Huskies’ 6-4 win at Hofstra May 11...allowed two runs in the first complete-game effort of his career, but lost in a pitcher’s duel, 2-1, against VCU on May 17.
2006: Started 11 games and made one relief appearance...went 6-2 with a 3.76 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 81-1/3 innings...struck out seven and limited Bowling Green to one earned run in 6-1/3 innings...threw eight innings and allowed just five hits and two runs in 5-2 win over Georgia State...shut out Delaware over eight innings, striking out nine batters...struck out eight hitters and allowed two runs vs. UNC Wilmington...kept William & Mary in check, allowing just one run on two hits over eight innings in 9-1 win...struck out 11 batters in 7-3 NU victory over Towson.
2005: Appeared in 17 games, making eight starts...went 6-3 with a 3.86 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 63 innings...named to the America East All-Rookie team...named America East Rookie of the Week three times...threw six innings and gave up three earned runs for his first collegiate victory, defeating Air Force on March 3...pitched eight solid innings, giving up only one run in 4-1 win over Holy Cross...tallied third win, throwing five scoreless innings while striking out four batters in victory over Massachusetts...helped NU defeat BC in the first round of the Beanpot with five shutout innings...ran his shutout streak to 16 innings after blanking Harvard over six innings in 10-3 victory May 3...closed out 7-3 win over Binghamton in the America East Tournament for his first career save.
High School: Played baseball for two seasons…was named school’s Athlete of the Year in 2001…was a member of the 2004 Intercounty Baseball League champ Guelph Royals…also competed in basketball, soccer and swimming…averaged 26 points per game on basketball team in 2003…played on the Canadian Junior National Team (2003-04).
