2007: In first season with the Huskies, hit nine home runs to go along with 24 RBI...hit a booming two-run homer to left field at Central Florida March 7...smacked a two-run homer to center field in the Huskies’ 5-3 win in game two of a doubleheader at George Mason March 18...went 5-9 with two homers, two doubles, five RBI and five runs scored in NU’s doubleheader sweep at Towson March 24...had his second multi-homer game of the season as he pounded two home runs and drove in three in the Huskies’ 9-3 win at James Madison April 7...went 3-5 with a double, RBI and two runs in the Huskies 7-5 win at James Madison April 8...hit a two-run homer in the Huskies’ 5-4 win at Winthrop on April 14...added a two-run triple and a sacrifice fly in the Huskies’ 17-6 win over UMass in the first round of the Beanpot Tournament...smacked his second triple of the season in the Huskies’ 7-1 win vs. Georgia State April 22...homered and doubled in the Huskies’ 17-12 win over UMass May 9...went 3-4 with his ninth homer and seventh double of the season in the Huskies’ 6-4 win at Hofstra May 11.
Before NU: Saw limited playing-time as a freshman at Maine in 2006, but showed significant power, hitting two homers and picking up seven RBI in just 14 at bats...played varsity baseball all four years at Bishop Feehan...team captain for two years...also played varsity football for three years and was a captain his senior year...set school career home run record, with 24, and led the state with 10 home runs his senior year...played for the Danbury Westerners in the New England College Baseball League in the summer of 2006; named a south division All-Star.
