Notes: A very intense game ultimately turned against the Huskies when New Hampshire's Caroline Coyne completed a hat trick by beating Northeastern goalie Kathleen Madaus in overtime. Northeastern had taken a comanding late-game two-goal lead when Heidi Benson converted a pass from Krisanne Duchemin for her 14th goal of the year. But the Wildcats bit back with goals from Kristin Iarusso and Coyne one minute apart to send the contest into OT, when Coyne won it. Northeastern peppered Wildcat goalkeeper Amy Agulay with 22 total shots, 3 of which eluded her, but she was able to stop both chances in overtime. With her outstanding performance, Agulay finished with the best America East numbers in both goals-against-average and save percentage, and was awarded all-tournament honors. Agulay and Coyne led UNH to wrestle away a conference title that Northeastern has had a tight hold on for the past four seasons.
