A day dominated by defense ended in favor of the Minutewomen by a final score of 2-0. UMass' Zowie Tucker needed to make only four saves to earn her fourth shutout of the season as the Husky offense was held without a shot in the second half. Towering defender Anke Bruemmer scored her 15th goal of the season on a penalty corner shot that was initially blocked by the NU defense. Chrissy Millbauer added a late score to diminish the Huskies' hopes of a comeback. Northeastern finishes its regular season with 7-11 record, but finished a strong 6-2 in conference play. The Huskies will be a BU next Friday night to take on New Hampshire in the first round of the America East postseason.
