Mari Creatini scored a pair of goals and Liane Dixon had a goal and an assist, leading NU to a 3-2 win over Ohio on Monday in Athens, Ohio. The Huskies are 2-0 after a 2-1 victory over Ball State on Friday.
Entering the second half, the score was tied 2-2. Dixon scored the game-winner at 37:41 with an assist from Jay Quinn in the 37th minute of play to lift the Huskies to a 3-2 lead, which they held for the win.
The Huskies jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the fourth minute. Creatini scored with an assist from Dixon at 1:44, then scored on a breakaway at 4:21.
Ohio then scored a pair of goals to knot the game at 2-2. The Bobcats' Chealsea Mearig and Amanda Arnold scored at 17:11 and 34:39, respectively.
Up next for the Huskies is a matchup at Princeton at 6 p.m. on Friday.
