Battista is learning the skills of being a collegiate kicker, and he has progressed well. He is in contention to handle some of the kicking duties this season. 2007: Redshirt season. High School: Kicked for four seasons at The Williston Northampton School under head coach Mark Conroy...also was a varsity wrestler...was named All-State in wrestling his senior year...nailed three game-winning field goals his junior year and one his senior year. Personal: Born Sept. 21, 1988...majoring in Political Science...hopes to work for the CIA or in law...enjoys sports, especially fishing...Class of 2012.
