MEN'S BASKETBALL Towson, MD -- The Huskies are coming off of their fourth consecutive defeat, a disappointing loss at Towson. The win was only the second of the season for the Tigers. Towson led 33-29 at the break, and were able to increase the margin due to poor Husky shooting, as NU only shot 36.0 percent in the second half. With 2:23 left in the game, the Huskies trailed 57-45. But NU reeled off seven consecutive points over the next 66 seconds. But Towson made five of six free throws down the stretch for the 62-52 victory. The Huskies suffered through their second straight 2-11 three-point shooting game, including 0-6 in the second half. Marcus Blossom was the only NU player in double-figures with 20 points, while Towson placed three players in double-digits, led by Brian Barber's 12 points. Despite forcing Towson into 24 turnovers, the Huskies still wound up on the losing end. The Tigers managed to outshoot NU for the game 53.5 percent to 41.2. Also, the Huskies were outrebounded 39-21.
