| 2005-06 Schedule/Results Barea named to NABC All-District 1 First Team
Joining Barea on the elite team are: Craig Smith (Boston College), Rudy Gay (Connecticut), Jared Dudley (Boston College) and Rashaun Freeman (Massachusetts). Being honored on the District 1 Second Team are: Hilton Armstrong (Connecticut), Kenny Adeleke (Hartford), Kevin Hamilton (Holy Cross), Josh Boone (Connecticut) and Donnie McGrath (Providence).
The NABC divides the nation into 15 districts, each with a first and second team. Only those 150 players selected to the All-District squads become eligible for the All-America honor presented at the end of the season. CAA players joining Barea in being honored by the NABC are Jai Lewis of George Mason (District 4 First Team), Loren Stokes of Hofstra (District 2 First Team), Antoine Agudio (District 2 Second Team), Nick George of VCU (District 4 Second Team) and Alex Loughton of Old Dominion (District 4 Second Team).
The Huskies complete their regular season this week with a trip to Delaware on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and the regular season finale at Towson on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
