2001-02: Played in 25 games as a rookie...one of 13 Huskies named Hockey East All-Academic...first career goal came against St. Lawrence Nov. 24; also had an assist in the Huskies’ 4-1 win at Matthews Arena...scored a goal against Iona in 7-2 NU rout on Dec. 15...had an assist against UMass Lowell Jan. 18...had an assist against Providence Feb. 1.
Before NU: Played the 1999-00 and 2000-01 seasons with the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), along with current Northeastern teammate Jason Guerriero ...led all NAHL defensemen in scoring during the 1999-00 season with a scoring line of 13-25-38...named to the All-NAHL second team and the NAHL All-Rookie team...played in the NAHL All-Star Game...won the league’s Hardest Shot Contest during All-Star weekend with a blast of 92 miles per hour...helped the Tornado to the league championship in the 2000-01 season...led all league defensemen with 15 goals...again played in the league’s All-Star Game and was an NAHL second-team selection...also played in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.
