2000-01: Played in every game as team captain…second on the team in assists (23) and fourth in points (27)…led all NU defensemen in points for the second straight season ...recorded seven multi-assist games on the season…named All-Hockey East, second team...had two assists at Notre Dame Oct. 20…assisted on Chris Lynch’s third goal of the game at UMass-Lowell Oct. 27…had two assists, including one on Scott Selig’s game-winner, in NU’s 5-4 OT victory over top ranked Wisconsin Oct. 28...had career-highs with three assists and three points at BC Nov. 3...picked up an assist at Maine Dec. 1...was named to the All-Tournament Team at the RPI Tournament...helped NU to a 4-2 win over UMass-Amherst Jan. 12 with an assist...had a goal against UNH Jan. 20 in 5-3 win...had two assists in 3-1 win over Merrimack Jan. 25...had a great month of February, with a 3-6-9 line in eight games, with four multi-point games...had a goal and an assist against Providence Feb. 2...had a goal and an assist against BU in the Beanpot Feb. 5...had a goal and two assists to equal a career-best three points against Harvard in the Beanpot Feb. 12...had two assists against Merrimack Feb. 17...had two assists against UMass-Lowell March. 3…had two assists against Maine March 9 in the Hockey East Quarterfinals.

1999-00: Played in every game and led NU blueliners with 20 points on the season...assistant captain...had an assist in season-opening win over Bowling Green...had a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win vs. UMass-Amherst Oct. 22...had two assists in a win over Maine Dec. 4...assisted on both NU goals in a 2-1 win over Dartmouth Dec. 11; also led a Husky penalty-kill unit that went 5-5 earning him Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week honors...followed the Dartmouth game with single assists against Harvard Dec. 19 and Minnesota-Duluth Dec. 28 for a four-game point streak...scored a goal against New Hampshire in a 3-3 tie Jan. 21 while leading the NU penalty kill to a 12-12 mark against UNH in the two-game weekend series; named Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week...had a pair of assists at Merrimack Jan. 29...scored a goal against Harvard in the Beanpot Feb. 14.

1998-99: Played in 32 of 34 games...tied for second on the team for goals by a defenseman (five)...named to Hockey East’s All-Rookie team...first career goal stood as the game-winner in an early season shutout of Colgate Oct. 23...scored two goals against ranked Notre Dame Nov. 7 sparking a four-game point streak with three goals and three assists over that stretch...had a goal and an assist at Boston College Nov. 14 and at UNH Nov. 21...had a pair of assists against Maine Dec. 13...set up two goals to lead Northeastern to a 3-1 win at BU Jan. 17, the team’s first win at Walter Brown Arena since 1990...also had a pair of assists, including a clearing pass in OT, to steer NU’s 4-3 win over Harvard in the first round of the Beanpot.

Before NU: Captained Catholic Memorial to two state titles...named Catholic Conference All-Star and MVP as a senior in 1997-98...selected to the Boston Globe Dream Team and the Boston Herald Super Team...Hockey Night in Boston’s Player of the Year and Defensive MVP...earned All-Scholastic honors from the Globe, Herald, the Patriot Ledger and Hockey Night in Boston...member of four state championship teams and one national title team (Catholic Memorial in 1995).

Personal: Born May 11, 1979...selected in the eighth round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks...also talented at golf and baseball...was a member of the National Honor Society in high school…off-ice pursuits include fishing, rollerblading and weightlifting…a Communications major...Class of 2003.
