Tim Judy was the Old Time Hockey Best Defensive Defenseman by Hockey East coaches. He scored six goals and had 14 assists in 2004-05 to finish his career with 13 goals and 59 assists for 72 points in 143 games. Judy signed with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL following the collegiate season and helped the Titans to the ECHL title.

2004-05: Named the Old Time Hockey Best Defensive Defenseman...given NU's Unsung Hero Award...was NU's third-leading scorer with six goals and 14 assists for 20 points...had five goals and nine assists in Hockey East games...had a team-best plus/minus rating of +8...notched assists against No. 1 Michigan and 11th-ranked Denver...scored first goal of the year against UNH on Nov. 19...scored his second goal in the 6-0 Providence win on Jan. 15...had a seven-game scoring streak from Jan. 29-Feb. 19...set up two come-from-behind goals in the 2-2 tie against Maine on Jan. 29...assisted on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Massachusetts on Feb. 3...scored the game-winner in a double overtime thriller against Harvard in the team's 2-1 win in the first round of the Beanpot...assisted on Jared Mudryk's goal that sent the Beanpot Championship into overtime against Boston University...scored the game-winner in a 3-2 win over UMass Lowell Feb. 10...had a short-handed goal and two assists in a 4-3 win over Merrimack Feb. 18...named a runner-up for Hockey East Player of the Month for February after three goals and six assists in eight games...scored in an 8-3 win over Massachusetts on March 4...earned Hockey East All-Academic honors for the second time.

2003-04: Suited up in all 34 games...second leading scorer among defensemen with a line of 1-11-12...NU was 9-3-2 when Judy was paired with freshman Steve Birnstill...assisted on Trevor Reschny goal in 4-0 win over UMass at Matthews Arena March 5...had an assist on Mike Morris’ power-play goal in NU’s 4-3 OT loss at BU Jan. 9...assisted on Mike Morris’ power-play goal in NU’s 6-4 win over Colgate in the first round of the 53rd Annual Rensselaer/HSBC Holiday Tournament Dec. 28...had a pair of assists during NU’s 4-0 home victory over Princeton Dec. 13...scored power-play goal in season-opening, 3-3, tie with Colgate Oct. 11.

2002-03: Played in every game...led all NU defensemen in points (18) and assists (15)...paired with freshman Chuck Tomes for 19 games and Brian Sullivan for 14...scored in 1-1 tie against top-ranked UNH on Oct. 25...recorded an assist in three straight games, against Providence Nov. 9, Maine Nov. 15 and BC Nov. 22, and again in two versus UMass Jan. 24-25 and Providence Jan. 31...had two assists in 3-1 win over Clarkson Nov. 30 and in 3-2 loss to UMass Lowell Jan. 18...assisted on Mike Ryan’s game-tying goal in 2-2 tie against sixth-ranked UNH Feb. 15.

2001-02: Played in every game as a freshman on defense...paired on defense with two-time NU captain and Hobey Baker finalist Jim Fahey in 33 of 39 games (team was 17-13-3 in those games)...led all Hockey East freshman defensemen in scoring during the regular season...13 of 22 points came on the power play...had an assist in collegiate debut versus Alaska-Anchorage Oct. 12...credited with an assist in 4-3 win over Boston College Oct. 20...scored first career goal against Notre Dame Oct. 27...had assists in both games of a weekend series with Providence Nov. 9 and 10, starting a four-game scoring streak...had two assists at Union on Dec. 29...assisted on Chris Lynch’s overtime game-winner against Maine Jan. 11; netted a goal against the Black Bears the next night...recorded a pair of assists to match his season high in a 5-2 win over Merrimack Feb. 8...had NU’s first goal of the postseason, scoring in the second period of the opening game in the Hockey East quarterfinals at UMass Lowell March 7.

Before NU: Played four years of varsity hockey at Mt. St. Joseph High School...named All-State, team MVP and team’s Most Dedicated Player...led team to state title...played three seasons for the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League...named team’s Most Improved Player after first season...captained team in 2000-01 and selected team MVP and All-USHL second team...had 32 points (eight goals, 24 assists) in 2000-01...led team and was eighth in the USHL in scoring among defensemen...played in the USHL All-Star game...participated in the Four Nations Cup in Germany.
