2008-09: Scored a power play goal and the overtime game-winner against Maine on Dec. 5...assisted on Ryan Ginand's game-winner against Maine on Oct. 25...posted an assist on Dennis McCauley's power play goal in a 4-2 tie against Alaska Anchorage in the Kendall Hockey Classic.

2007-08: Served as assistant captain in 2007-08...played in 36 games on defense...scored a goal and added four assists for five points...rating was plus-3...usually paired on defense with Drew Muench...only goal of the season was the game-winning goal in NU’s 4-3 win over Bowling Green in the Badger Hockey Showdown on Dec. 28...named to the Badger Hockey Showdown All-Tournament team...assisted on Dennis McCauley’s goal in the Huskies’ tie with Vermont at the Gutterson Fieldhouse on Jan. 18...posted an assist on Wade MacLeod’s game-winning, overtime goal against Boston College at Conte Forum on March 7...had two assists, including one on Dennis McCauley’s overtime game-winner, in the Huskies’ 2-1 win over Vermont in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on March 15.

2006-07: Played in all 36 games for NU in his second season...recorded a career-high six assists on the season from the blue line, and finished the year with a team-best plus-12 rating...paired with Steve Birnstill in 32 games...recorded an assist on Bryan Esner’s short-handed goal in NU’s 4-1 win over Merrimack on Dec. 1...assisted on Dennis McCauley’s goal in a 7-2 win over Holy Cross Dec. 30...set up Chad Costello’s first goal in 6-2 win over UMass Lowell Jan. 19...recorded his first career multi-point game by assisting on Kyle Kraemer’s game-winning goal and Bryan Esner’s empty-net tally in NU’s 4-2 win over No. 5 BU on Feb. 28.

2005-06: Only freshman to play in all 34 games...1-5-6 scoring line...paired up with Steve Birnstill in 27 games...recorded his first collegiate point with an assist on Joe Vitale’s second goal in a 7-5 loss to Vermont on Nov. 1...assisted on Ryan Ginand’s goal in a 4-2 loss to Maine in the Florida College Classic on Dec. 28...took a shot that Ray Ortiz deflected for a goal in a 6-4 win over UMass Lowell Feb. 10...assisted on Dennis McCauley’s game-winning goal against No. 14 Providence on Feb. 16...scored his first goal in the final game of the season, a 5-3 loss to BU.

Before NU: Played two seasons for the Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL with classmate Dennis McCauley...captained team to a 37-17-6 record and scored one goal and had 11 assists in 2004-05...team won the USHL Western Conference Championship...had a scoring line of 1-13-14 in 2003-04 as the Musketeers went 38-15-7...played the 2002-03 season for New York Apple Core of the EJHL with former NU defenseman Steve Birnstill, helping Apple Core to the EJHL championship...played for the New York Bobcats of the AJHL in 2001-02...played four years of hockey and three years of golf at the Portledge School...participated in USA Hockey festivals from 2000-02.

Personal: Born May 25, 1985...father, Thomas Liotti, was an All-American swimmer at Adelphi University and swam in the 1968 Summer Olympic trials...enjoys surfing, reading and playing cards...graduated from the Portledge School...majoring in Business Management...Class of 2009.
