1999-00: Led team in scoring with 23 points in 33 games played...assisted on three of four NU goals in a two-game set at Wisconsin Oct. 29-30...had a power play goal and an assist in a 6-5 win over Boston College Nov. 12...had a goal and an assist in a win vs. Maine Dec. 4 and also in a victory over UMass-Amherst Jan. 14...scored game-tying goal at UNH Jan. 22 to follow a two-assist performance vs. the Wildcats Jan. 21; subsequently named Hockey East’s Player of the Week...netted game-tying goal with under a minute left at Merrimack Jan. 29 to add to two earlier assists.
1998-99: Exploded at Boston College Nov. 13, scoring a goal and assisting on three others to lead Northeastern to a dramatic 5-4 overtime triumph against the top-ranked Eagles...best display of individual ability came against UMass-Amherst Jan. 5 when he danced along the goalline to deke both a defenseman and the goalie en route to a 3-on-3 goal...spearheaded a surprising comeback at Providence Jan. 9, recording primary assists on three goals in the final three minutes of a 5-4 NU victory.
1997-98: One of the league’s top rookies..first collegiate goal came at Merrimack Nov. 7...was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week following performance against UMass-Lowell Nov. 22, which included the game-tying goal...had three-point nights against Harvard Dec. 18 and Army Feb. 13...appeared in all 39 games as Huskies finished 21-15-3.
Before NU: Played two seasons of varsity hockey at Canterbury Prep...also earned three letters in tennis...paced Canterbury to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference Div. I championship in 1997.
Personal: Born Sept. 15, 1978...selected in the eighth round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks...nickname is "Misch"...Business/Marketing major... Class of 2002.
