Anding honored by Top Drawer Soccer
Freshman forward Don Anding was named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's All-Rookie first team, the site announced Thursday. The honor comes after Anding had already been named to the All-CAA first team and All-Rookie teams and was honored as CAA Rookie of the Year last week. He is the only player in the conference to earn All-Rookie first team honors.

Huskies fall to UNCW 1-0 in CAA Championship match
The third-seeded Huskies fell to top seed and host UNC Wilmington 1-0 on Sunday as their playoff run came to an end. Although NU outshot its opponent 16-7, the team was not able to convert its chances. The game-winning goal did not come until the 87th minute as Nassim Berhouni's third score of the season sealed Northeastern's fate. Lars Okland, Scott Partridge and Matt Sanford were all named to the CAA All-Tournament team.

Huskies advance to CAA Championship final
The third-seeded Huskies defeated the second-seeded William and Mary Tribe 2-1 in overtime to advance to the final of the CAA Championship. Andre Ciliotta scored the game-winner in the 98th minute assisted by Santiago Bedoya to earn the victory. Don Anding scored his seventh goal of the season early in the second half to give the Huskies the 1-0 lead but the Tribe's Nathaniel Baako tied the match in the 72nd minute. All-CAA first team selection Santiago Bedoya assisted both goals in the victory. Northeastern will battle the winner of the Old Dominion and UNC Wilmington match on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Six Huskies receive All-CAA honors
Don Anding was named the CAA Rookie of the Year, headlining one of six
Huskies named to All-CAA teams, the conference announced Thursday.
Anding received first-team All-CAA honors along with junior
defender Santiago Bedoya. Senior co-captain Lars Okland was named to
the All-CAA second team, and Matt Sanford and Mike Kennedy received
third-team honors. The All-Rookie team featured two Huskies as Andre
Ciliotta was named to the squad and Anding received his third CAA
recognition.

Huskies take down VCU 3-2
The men's soccer team defeated the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams at Parsons Field on Saturday, 3-2. Don Anding, Nick Lueders, and Josh Semerene all scored for the Huskies while Lars Okland, Mike Kennedy, Josh Danesh, and Anding earned assists. Semerene's goal was the game-winner assisted by Danesh. The win improves NU to 9-7-1 (8-2-1 CAA) and breaks a Huskies record for conference victories. The team's next match will be the semifinal of the CAA Tournament against William and Mary next Friday, Nov. 13.
