Notes: The Huskies won their season opener over SUNY-Albany, which played its first-ever Div. I soccer game. Sophomore Petter Starnas was involved on all three Husky goals. The first came off a long, high pass from Phonethip Ketnouong (two assists), which Starnas headed into the net. Anders Hoyem scored NU's second goal off an assist from Starnas. Finally, Starnas scored after rebounding a shot off a breakaway by Ketnouong. With his five-point effort, Starnas is already just one point shy of his 1998 season total of six points.
