The Huskies defeated Colgate 3-2 to win the Bronc Fall Classic, hosted by Rider.

NU trailed 2-1 at the half, but raillied to tie the game on a Blair Carroll goal and won it on a goal by Petter Starnas in the 75th minute. Ben Collins fed Starnas for the winning score and also netted NU's first goal of the afternoon.

Freshman Jochen Saier was named Most Valuable Defenseman of the Bronc Fall Classic for his two-game efforts that included an assist during the Huskies first round victory over host Rider.
