Sophomore forward LeRoy Watkins scored off a long lead pass from Anders Hoyem to give Northeastern the only goal it would need in a 1-0 win at Holy Cross on Tuesday. Watkins' goal came in the 25th minute. Allan Lewis made five saves in net to record the shutout. The win broke a three-game Husky losing streak. NU was outshot 17-8 and had just one corner to the Crusaders' nine. In the victory however, Petter Starnas received a red card in the 65th minute and the Huskies will be without his services next Tuesday as they face Harvard on the road.
