Northeastern (2-8-4) lost to the Retreivers of UMBC (7-5-2) down in Balimore this afternoon 2-0.
Senior goalkeeper Sergio Sacccoccio blocked three UMBC scoring chances in the first ten minutes of the game. Saccoccio had four saves.
Retrievers George Bakoulas scored in the 48th minute off a volley from freshman midfielder Matt Watson. Powell Cucchiella scored in the 68th minute to give UMBC some insurance.
The Huskies take on Big East power-house Boston College this Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Parson's Field
