| 2008 Schedule/Results Old Dominion 2, Northeastern 1 (2 OT)
The Huskies dropped their second straight game in double overtime Saturday night at Old Dominion 2-1 on a goal from Old Dominion's Nane Joseph at 101:14. The goal was Joseph's second of the game. Northeastern (5-4-6, 3-2-3 CAA) now falls to fifth place after going 0-2-0 in the week. The Monarchs (8-5-2, 5-2-1 CAA) propelled themselves to a tie in first place with the victory. Old Dominion struck first when Joseph scored from eight yards out on a pass from Trevor Banks. Northeastern got the equalizer in the 83rd minute when Petur Vidarsson converted a Mike Kennedy pass for his first goal of the season. The Huskies were unable to hold off Old Dominion in the second overtime as Joseph scored the game-winner off a pass from Roberto Sgueglia with nine minutes remaining in the period. Northeastern's goalie Scott Partridge made three saves in the loss while the Monarch's Brennan Kirkpatrick made four.
