Student-Athlete Questionnaire
The Northeastern University men's soccer team is an up and coming program in the
Northeast Region. The Huskies are led by head coach Brian Ainscough. Brian was a former head coach at
Bowdoin College and Providence College as well as a former professional soccer player.
Northeastern is a
member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), which gives its athletes broad national visibility.
Membership in this conference stretches from Boston to Atlanta, and the participating universities share a
reputation for academic and athletic excellence. Along with its competitive conference schedule, the
Huskies also have a very competitive out of conference schedule which includes teams from the Big East,
America East and the Ivy League.
Northeastern, which has a 67-acre campus located in the heart of
Boston, combines course work in liberal arts and professional studies with a variety of experiential learning
opportunities. Most importantly, Northeastern provides a great balance between academics and athletics
which is a combination essential to our student-athletes academic excellence.
