Huskies third after CAA's day one April 20, 2007 Harrisonburg, VA

The Huskies scored 29 points on the first day of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship on Friday in Harrisonburg, Va., to grab the third-place spot heading into day two. William & Mary leads with 83 points and is followed by UNC Wilmington (50.5), Northeastern (29), Virginia Commonwealth (24), Delaware (22.5), James Madison (17), George Mason (6) and Georgia State (2).
Bamidele Faboyede won the hammer for the Huskies as he tossed the ball and chain 187'3. In his second meet after returning from injury, Ed Reardon placed third in the hammer. While also competing in the first day of the decathlon, Ron Conway placed second in the javelin.
The meet resumes on Saturday morning, beginning with the women's shot put, at 10 a.m.
