Blue Devil Invitational
The men's cross country team skips over the Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 13 but is back in action at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 30 in Dartmouth, Mass.

New Britain, Conn.Redshirt freshman Teddy Vrountas placed second overall, leading Northeastern to a third-place finish at the Blue Devil Invitational at Central Connecticut State on Friday night in New Britain, Conn. Vrountas, who only ran indoor track last year, ran a time of 26:44 for the tough five-mile course. Dan Clayton was the second Husky over the line, placing seventh in 28:08 and transfer student Kyle Audet was 14th in 28:39. Freshman Sebastian Putzeys took 16th in 28:40 and Bryan Brunelli rounded out the Huskies' top five, placing 20th in 28:49.
