Northeastern 160, Boston College 140
Freshman Heather Whiting took second behind Alvarez in the 100 breaststroke.
The Huskies started the meet off with a big win in the 200 Medley Relay with a team consisting of Reddick, Alvarez, freshman Alexandra Doty, and sophomore Kara Lane. Lane took first in the 200 butterfly while Doty won the 100 backstroke.
Sophomore diver Brittany Gilles swept the diving events winning the one and three meter dives. Senior Emily Crookall-Nixon won the 200 backstroke.
Boston College junior Kimberly Garcia took home two victories in the 500 and 1000-meter freestyle. Kelly Leahy and Carrie Byron took first and second in the 200 free.
BC ended the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay.
NU travels to Vermont on Saturday, Nov. 19 for a 12 p.m. meet.

Barletta Natatorium (Boston, Mass)The Northeastern women's swimming and diving team defeated Boston College, 160-140, Friday night. Senior Sarah Reddick won the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly while Freshman Elena Alvarez took first in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke and finished second in the 200 IM.
