Northeastern 144.5, Vermont 97.5
The Huskies started off the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:54.86. The team consisted of seniors Sarah Reddick and Cara Tontodonato, junior Samantha Hoffmann and sophomore Lauren Aloma.
NU took first, second and third in the one and three meter dive events. Sophomore Brooks Wallace took first in both, freshman Brittany Gilles placed second in the three and third in the one and sophomore Monica Hubbard took second in the one and third in the three.
Freshman Alexandra Doty won the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:08.87 while Reddick took second place with a time of 2:14.42. Juniors Katy Turner and Tara Thompson finished second in their individual events, Turner in the 100 yard freestyle and Thompson in the 200 yard freestyle.
NU won the last two events to finish the meet. Freshman Elena Alvarez won the 200 backstroke in 2:26.98 and the 200 freestyle relay team, made up of Reddick, Doty, Aloma and sophomore Samantha Sabre, finished up the meet on top.
The Huskies take on Kansas and Harvard at Harvard on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2-3.

Burlington, Vt.The Northeastern women’s swimming and diving team defeated Vermont, 144.5-97.5, Saturday afternoon, improving NU's overall record to 4-2. Senior captain Emily Crookall-Nixon won both the 200 backstroke in 2:08.74 and the 200 IM in 2:12.46.
