Northeastern 177, Central Connecticut 122
Sophomore Elena Alvarez continued her success as a Husky by winning both the 100-yard breaststroke and 100-meter butterfly. Alvarez also took first place in the 200-yard medley relay, along with sophomore Alexandra Doty, junior Kara Lane and freshman Kathrine Fugge.
In her first collegiate meet, Fugge showed that she will be a force in the CAA by winning both the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley to go along with her relay victory.
Junior Brooks Wallace took first place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events, while Monica Hubbard placed second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter.
The Huskies return to action on Friday to take on Boston College at 4 p.m.
