| 2007 Schedule/Results Huskies ranked 10th in East Region in AVCA poll
The poll features national powers Clemson, who are ranked No. 1, and Duke and Georgia Tech who are ranked No. 2 and No. 3. CAA champions Delaware are ranked No. 4.
Led by first team All-CAA selection Kira Batura and second team All-CAA selection Lauren DeTurk, the Huskies roared through the CAA, winning 12 of their final 15 regular season matches. The Huskies finished the regular season on a six match winning streak, securing second place in the CAA and a bye into the semifinals of the tournament. However, the Huskies were beset to injuries to key players Batura, Caitlin Tittl and Leah Neubeck, and fell to Hofstra in the semis.
While the Huskies received outstanding production from veterans Batura, DeTurk, and Jessica Tkachuk, Northeastern also appears to be in good hands for the future, as Tittl was named CAA Rookie of the Year, and fellow freshman Britney Brown finished second on the team in assists to Tkachuk.
