Kin Yun enters his third season with Northeastern. Yun helped guide the Huskies to a CAA Tournament apperance and a 15-12 record in 2006 when NU finished fourth in the CAA with a 12-6 conference mark.

A Hong Kong native, Yun brings 15 years of coaching experience to the NU staff, including 13 years at the college level. Yun has served as an assistant coach at Boston College, Brandeis University and Emmanuel College. He has also coached at the high school level for Newton North and Brookline. He was a coach for the Newton Smash Junior Olympics program and coaches camps at Boston College, New Hampshire and Northeastern.

As a player, Yun was a two-time Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection and led Brookline High School to back-to-back state championships. He is currently a member of the Boston Knights Chinese Athletic Club which competes nationallly on the 9-man volleyball circuit. Yun works as a Business Analyst at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and resides in Quincy.
