"Winners Just Respond" bracelets to benefit Stand Up to Cancer
Northeastern has announced the sale of "Winners Just Respond" bracelets in honor of assistant women's basketball coach Bill Carpenter who is battling cancer. All proceeds go to Stand Up to Cancer. Bracelets are $3 and will be sold at all home men's and women's basketball games as well as men's hockey games.

Towson downs Huskies 72-57
Shanae Baker-Brice scored 28 points, including going 13-for-16 from the free throw line in the second half as Towson defeated Northeastern 72-57 on Monday. The Tigers outscored the Huskies 21-9 in the final 7:30 minutes to seal the win. Brittany Wilson led Northeastern with 15 points and nine rebounds. Northeastern returns to action on Thursday February 11 taking on Drexel at 7 p.m.

Huskies tame Panthers 61-53
Brittany Wilson's jumper with 7:30 remaining in the second half sparked a 13-2 run to give Northeastern a 61-53 comeback win over Georgia State on Thursday evening. Four Huskies reached double figures, led by Kim Carr with 17 points. Northeastern improves to 9-12 overall and 4-6 in CAA play. The Huskies return to action on Sunday, February 7 taking on Towson at 12 p.m. on The Comcast Network/Comcast Sports New England.

Kerkhof named CAA Rookie of the Week
Deanna Kerkhof was named CAA Rookie of the Week after a pair of impressive scoring performances that saw the freshman average 20 points per game over two games last week. The conference made the announcement on Monday. Kerkhof and the Huskies return to action on Thursday, February 4 taking on Georgia State at 6 p.m.

Second half surge powers Huskies over George Mason
Deanna Kerkhof led three Huskies in double figures scoring a career-high 21 points as Northeastern shot 70.6 percent in the second half to down George Mason 70-57 on Sunday at Solomon Court. Kim Carr added 19 while Kashaia Cannon had 15 for the Huskies. Northeastern returns to action on Thursday, Feburary 4 to take on Georgia State.
