Wilson named CAA Rookie of the Week
Wilson, who is averaging 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, has started the last five games for Northeastern. The Pawtucket, R.I. native, has contributed in every game this season on the offensive and defensive end. Her 11 points and six rebounds at UNH, marked career-highs for Wilson.
The Northeastern Huskies are 2-5 to start the 2008-09, having won its last two out of three games. The Huskies will wrap up its four-game road swing on Dec. 20 when they take on Bay State foe Massachusetts at 1 p.m. NU will return to Huntington Ave. for a trifecta of games before the new year, with the first against Holy Cross at 2 p.m.

Boston, MAFreshman guard Brittany Wilson has been named CAA Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Wilson received the award after an 11 point, six rebound, and two steal performance against non-conference opponent New Hampshire at Lundholm Gym in Durham, N.H. this past Sunday. It’s the first time she has received the weekly honor.
