Women's Crew falls on Housatonic

Northeastern dropped a tough match on the Housatonic River Saturday to national powerhouses Yale and Brown. They are ranked second and fourth in the EAWRC poll, respectively. Yale won the race with a time of 6:38.8, with Brown next at 6:40.9 and the Huskies finishing at 6:53.5.

At 500-meters Yale had a three-seat lead on both NU and Brown. By 1000 Yale's lead on Brown dwindled to a slight margin, and led NU by a length. Yale and Brown continued to slug it out until the finish line, with the Huskies trailing.
