Huskies top Syracuse, Gonzaga in second round of CRC

The Northeastern University women's crew team defeated Syracuse and Gonzaga in the second round of the Charles River Challenge. The race took place in the early evening.

The Huskies finished at 6:32.1, followed by Syracuse at 6:35.8 and Gonzaga at 6:41.4. There was a tailwind and slight chop on the 2000-meter course.

Earlier in the day, Northeastern fell to Notre Dame in the first round of the CRC.

The 7-1 Huskies will next face Texas in the third round of the CRC tomorrow at 8:50 a.m.
