The women’s rowing team competed in the 43rd annual Head of the Charles over the weekend and posted several strong finishes.
On Saturday, the Huskies came in 13th out of 51 teams in the Club eights race with a time of 17:58.503. The Club fours team placed 27th, clocking in at 21:32.959.
Northeastern also participated in the Championship eights and fours on Sunday. The four boat came in 19th with a time of 20:05.633.
The Huskies eight was very successful, placing 12th out of 39 teams at 16:51.433. The boat finished ahead of strong programs such as Dartmouth, Cornell and Pennsylvania.
Northeastern alumni also took part in the historic regatta, racing under the name Rusty Riggers in the club eights. The alumni finished 34th with a time of 19:09.785 out of 51 teams.
