Northeastern Women's Hockey Results In a somewhat mismatched affair at Northeastern's Matthews Arena Saturday, the home team Huskies easily defeated the Boston College Eagles by a final of 12-0. Northeastern senior defenseman Jennie Setaro scored the opening goal at 6:13 of the first period, and it stood as the game-winner. Setaro would go on to add another goal as well as three assists in game. Among the other offensive stars on the night, forwards Colleen Coen, Kathleen Savino, and Hilary Witt, who scored two goals each for the Huskies. Defenseman Erine Metcalf contributed four assists. Northeastern goaltender Erika Silva needed to stop only eight shots en route to her fourth shutout of the season in just nine games. The Huskies fired 50 shots on BC netminder Christy Nentwig, who finished with 38 saves. With the win, NU improves its record to 6-2-1, while Boston College falls to 1-5-0. The Huskies host Dartmouth Sunday at 1 p.m. in what should be a closer contest. Dartmouth defeated national champion Harvard last weekend.
