Northeastern Women's Hockey Results Northeastern outshot Darmouth 21-4 in the third period and scored three times to erase a 2-1 deficit and defeat the Big Green. Dartmouth took an early lead on Lauren Trottier's second of the season. The wrap-around goal came with only 24 seconds gone in the first. The Big Green added to their lead two minutes later when Kristen Romberg redirected Jennifer Weihn's shot past NU goalie Erika Silva. Kim Vallone got the Huskies on the board with six minutes left in the first session, scoring on a wrister with help from Hillary Witt and Michelle Lorion. Kathleen Savino put a pass from Jennie Setaro past Darmouth goaltender Meaghan Cahill for the tying goal with 11:45 left in the game. The Huskies would take the lead with 8:44 left on Erine Metcalf's slapper from the left point that eluded Cahill's glove. Witt added an insurance goal two minutes later. Northeastern held Darmouth scoreless on 11 power-play opportunities. The Huskies converted one of six chances. The game featured 58 minutes of penalties and two 10-minute misconducts, both to Darmouth players. The victory moves the Huskies to 7-2-1 overall while Dartmouth falls to 4-2-0.
