In a decidely one-sided affair, the Husky offense opened up for 15 unanswered goals against Wisconsin to cruise to a 15-0 victory in the second round of the Dartmouth Invitational Tournament. Despite the mismatch, there was a great deal of drama as the contest came to a close. With a pair of assists in the final 20 seconds of the match, senior captain Hilary Witt first tied and then broke Fiona Rice's all-time Northeastern career points record of 181. The new record came with one tick left on the clock as junior Lisa Giovanelli converted for her first career hat trick on a play set up by Witt. Witt finished with a pair of goals (Nos. 98 and 99 of her career) and three assists, but was certainly not the only offensive star on the evening. Junior Colleen Coen (pictured) also contributed a pair of goals and three assists in her career-best performance. Giovanelli and Kathleen Savino poured in four points each, while rookie Michelle Lorion scored twice. All three NU goalies appeared in the game, including freshman Mary-Ellen Courtemanche, who made two saves to preserve the team's sixth shutout of the season in her career debut.
