| 1999-2000 Schedule/Results Dartmouth 3, Northeastern 2
After a scoreless first period, Brooke Whitney put NU on the board first when she tipped an Erine Metcalf slapshot past Dartmouth goaltender Amy Ferguson. But the Big Green came storming back later in the period, scoring first on the power play and then on a 2-on-0 shorthanded breakaway to give themselves a 2-1 lead. Whitney answered with a solo-effort shorthanded goal just one minute later and the teams headed into the final period tied at two, despite a 23-10 shot advantage for the home team. The Big Green would continue its shooting gallery in the third period, finally slipping one past NU stopper Erika Silva at the 14:07 mark during a power play. Silva (pictured) finished with a season-high 34 saves in the loss. Northeastern was scoreless on seven power plays in the game. The loss drops them to 20-8-3 and likely seals a trip to New Hampshire when the ECAC playoffs commence next weekend.
