Hilary Witt (pictured) recorded her second hat trick of the season, including two shorthanded goals, to lead the Huskies to a convincing 6-1 win at Boston College in the regular season finale on Sunday. Forwards Brooke Whitney and Jennifer Santerre also scored during penalty kills to give the Huskies four shorthanded goals in the game. Defenseman Jennie Setaro finished with a goal and an assist. Northeastern completes its regular season with an enviable 21-8-3 overall record, but will nevertheless be forced to travel to New Hampshire for an ECAC quarterfinal match next weekend.
