BOSTON, MA - Northeastern beat Quinnipiac 3-0 on Sunday afternoon at Matthews Arena, completing a weekend sweep of the Braves. Kim Greene led the way for the Huskies as she scored the game-winner five minutes into the third period on a redirect of a Pamela Pachal slapshot. Greene then went on to assist on the Huskies' next two goals.

Northeastern (25-5-0, 15-4-0) outshot the Braves 46-11 in the game, but was not able to get on the board over the first two periods due to the outstanding play of Quinnipiac goalie Mel Courtemanche. She turned away 43 shots, including 16 in the first period alone. Courtemanche made 56 saves in NU's 3-1 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday night.

Northeastern's second goal came at 12:43 in the third when Bekka Lass deflected a Greene wristshot top shelf to beat Courtemanche. The Huskies' final tally came with just 31 seconds remaining in the game as Brooke White broke out of the zone on a pass from Greene and took off all alone. White sent the breakaway home and gave the Huskies a 3-0 lead.

Chanda Gunn stopped 11 shots en route to her fourth shutout of the season.
