Brooke White scored a pair of goals to lead Northeastern to a 4-0 win over Boston College in an ECAC Eastern quarterfinal game at Matthews Arena on Friday.

NU has now won 21 straight meetings against Boston College and is 52-0-1 against the Eagles in the teams' last 53 matchups. The second-seeded Huskies improve to 26-6-1, while seventh-seeded BC finishes the season 9-19-4.

The Huskies struck first on the power play when White rebounded a shot by Erica Archambeau and scored her 17th of the season at the 13:43 mark of the first period. Lindsay Ball also got an assist. White scored her second of the night with just 25 seconds left in the opening period, cramming a feed from Nancy Collins past BC netminder Lisa Davis.

Michelle Lorion made it 3-0 Huskies when she blasted one by Davis just 4:21 into the second period. Davis slowed the shot down, but it trickled by for Lorion's 10th of the year. Kim Greene and Brooke Whitney earned assists on the play. Lori DiGiacomo scored to provide a comfortable four-goal cushion with 2:48 left before the second intermission. The Huskies were fresh off killing consecutive penalties when DiGiacomo netted her second of the season.

NU killed off all five of its penalties and the Huskies were 1-3 on the power play. Chanda Gunn made 19 saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season. Davis finished with 30 saves for the Eagles.

The Huskies advance to the ECAC Eastern semifinals March 15 at Storrs, Conn.
