After going into the second period trailing 2-1, the Huskies exploded for six-unanswered goals en route to a 7-2 victory over the visiting Mississauga Jr. Chiefs in exhibition action at Matthews Arena Friday.

Former Chief and current Husky Michelle Lorion had two goals and one assist, while Brooke White also added two goals and an assist. Pamela Pachal, Cyndy Kenyon and Kathryn Sands also scored for NU.

After nearly 18 minutes of scoreless play, Mississauga's Mandi Duhamel put the Chiefs up 1-0 at the 17:59 mark. Pachal scored 1:05 later to even the game, then Charde Hoyle-Levy put the Chiefs back on top with 37 seconds before the end of the first.
