Colleen Coen, a captain last season on Joy Woog’s first Northeastern team, will assist the team in 2001-02 as a student assistant while she finishes her degree in Sociology as part of NU’s five-year curriculum. 2000-01: Played in every game as a senior captain…had five goals and nine assists…had a goal and an assist against Princeton Nov. 4…also had a goal and an assist the next day, versus Yale…scored a goal in 4-0 win over top-ranked Dartmouth Jan. 5…had a three-game assist streak from Feb. 10 through Feb. 13…played a great all-around game in win over Harvard Feb. 25, including scoring a goal in the first period. 1999-2000: Tallied a pair of goals at Ohio State Oct. 9...scored the game-winning power play goal against Minnesota Oct. 30...scored a pair of goals and added one assist versus Boston College Nov. 20...had a career night with two goals and three assists against Wisconsin Dec. 30. 1998-99: Enjoyed five multiple-point games...had a goal and five assists in a three-game stretch which included contests against Harvard and Dartmouth...poured in four goals and two assists in a four-game run in February, highlighted by a late goal to beat New Hampshire Feb. 7. 1997-98: Appeared in 35 of 37 games...had two power-play goals...first career goal came in season opener against Saint-Laurent Nov. 8...scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Cornell Jan. 11...netted two goals against Boston College Feb. 21...season-high four assists came against Colby Feb. 1...also had three assists versus Augsburg Jan. 22. Before NU: Played ice hockey, soccer and softball at Billerica High School...earned nine letters...captained the ice hockey squads in 1995-96 and 1996-97 and softball teams in 1996 and 1997...played for the Junior National Team in 1996...played two seasons of hockey at Cushing Academy (1995-97), leading the team in goals both years.
