BROOKLINE, MA - The Northeastern women's soccer team defeated Sacred Heart 1-0 on Tuesday night at Parsons Field in Brookline, Mass.

The Huskies didn't waste much time getting on the board as Melissa Cohen headed Liz Dyjack's corner kick past Pioneer goalie Leslie Konsig just 4:34 into the game.

The game remained scoreless the rest of the way, with the Huskies controlling the ball and pace of the game throughout the second half.

However, the Huskies got a scare in the 78th minute when Nathallie Urbas' shot deflected off the diving hands of NU keeper Shellie Parkinson and hit the post. That was as close as the Pioneers would come.

NU improves to a perfect 3-0 on the season, while Sacred Heart falls to 0-4 on the year.
