WORCESTER, MA - The Northeastern women's soccer team battled 120 minutes with the Holy Cross Crusaders on Wednesday night in Worcester and came away with a 2-2 tie. The Huskies got on the board first courtesy of Caitlin Springer's goal from Liz Dyjack at the 18:39 mark. The Crusaders responded just over a minute later as Brandy Ault took Kate O'Shaughnessy's pass and sent it by NU goalie Shellie Parkinson, tying the game at 1-1. Holy Cross would score their final goal of the game at the 26:28 mark as Sarah Comeaux scored an unassisted goal. NU and Holy Cross battled for over 40 scoreless minutes before Springer and Dyjack connected once again to tie the score 2-2. Shellie Parkinson was relieved by Cynthia Slowik for the start of the second half. Slowik received credit for the tie as NU score the tying goal while she was in net. It was her first career collegiate decision. The Huskies are still unbeaten as they are now 4-0-2, while Holy Cross is 4-2-1. SCORING
