The women's soccer team beat New Hampshire, 2-1, in double overtime on Sunday at Parsons Field. Sophomore and leading scorer Kristen Kowalik put in the first goal for the Huskies. Junior Jessie Haidamaka scored the game-winner to end the game after 102 minutes of play. New Hampshire's Adrianna Medina-Gonzalez scored the first goal of the game at 26:11 in the first half. She rebounded her own saved shot and tapped the ball in past Northeastern sophomore goalie Mariel Wilner. Kowalik's goal came at 63:27 in the second after she blasted a shot 20 yards out into the back of the net. Freshman Dianna Mastromauro recorded the assist. The game ended at 101:16 when junior Jessie Haidamaka tapped the ball into the net off of a UNH defender. Haidamaka recorded her third game-winning goal of the season. Northeastern goalie Mariel Wilner recorded seven saves for the Huskies while UNH keeper Lynn Gugliuzza had five saves. The Huskies are undefeated in conference play on their home field and in first place in America East.
