The women's soccer team dominated Albany in a 4-0 shut out over the Great Danes Sunday afternoon at Parsons Field. Junior midfielder Jessica Pfeifer recorded her first career hat trick to lead Northeastern.
Jessica Pfeifer put the Huskies on the board with a goal just three minutes into the game. Her next goal (28:40) crossed past Albany's defenders and blasted into the back right corner of the goal.
Pfeifer's third goal came off of a direct kick at 53:11 in the second, also shot into the back right of the net.
Sophomore midfielder Nicole Bottino scored her first career goal at 87:39. She headed in the ball in traffic. Bottino's goal was assisted by a cross into the center from junior midfielder Jackie Spellman.
The Huskies are back in action Thursday night on the road in Maryland to take on UMBC in America East play.
