The women's soccer team lost 3-0 to Binghamton in the second round of the America East Championship. The loss for the Huskies marks the end of their season with a 12-7-2 record overall and 6-4-1 conference record this year.

The first goal of the game came unassisted from Binghamton sophomore Kelly Burnham at 5:30 in the first half. She made a shot 15 yards out from the right side.

Binghamton opened up the second half with a goal off the foot of senior forward Tatiana Mathelier off a pass from senior midfielder Caitlin O'Shaghnessy. The shot skimmed over the head of Northeastern's sophomore goalie Mariel Wilner.

The final goal of the game was tapped in from the Bearcat's sophomore forward Danielle White after she got past Wilner.

Despite not advancing to the championship round of the tournament, Northeastern broke last years record for most wins in a season by finishing with 12. Their six conference wins also marks a new record.
