The women's soccer team beat Providence College, 2-1, to take its third straight win on the road this week.
The Huskies scored both of their goals in the first half. Sophomore Kristen Kowalik came down the right side of the field to blast a shot into the top left corner for a goal at 18:36. Freshman Diana Mastromauro took the assist.
The second goal for the Huskies came at 29:12 when sophomore Jackie Spellman scored from the top of the box on a shot high into the net.
Ashley Amaral scored for the Friars at 58:32 from the top of the box.
Northeastern plays Marist College in its first home game on Monday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.
